Bridging the gap.

iSocialite Media created a series of events dubbed the #illCollabProject in an effort to create unique opportunities for the youth of the city to give back. Making being conscious and aware, cool.

THE VISION.

iSocialite Media wanted a way to make giving back to the community cool and fun. To make doing charity work the place young people needed to be.

Do I have to go?

We asked a group of our millennial peers what they thought about community service/charity work. The responses were rather bleek, and not very exciting. Why should community service feel like a chore?

IS IT LIT?

We realized that millennials will spend money on fun experiences. Going out to clubs, parties, events, and concerts are the first place millennials will spend money; moreso than on products. From there, it was a pretty simple solution to getting the youth to donate to charitable causes.

THE EXECUTION.

To bring awareness to charitable causes, iSocialite Media created a series of events that sought to:

1.
Change the current stigma attached to doing community service among young adults.
2.
Allow the tastemakers in the city to merge fan bases and come together for a common goal.

Foster a "be the change you wish to see" environment that empowers the youth to make a difference.

THE OUTCOME.

Over a thousand lunches made and distributed to the homeless by over 200 volunteers. The Sixers, Sparkling Ice, and KIND Snacks, in addition to local brands and tastemakers, all came together for the cause.
