Drake To Be Arrested For His Fight With Chris Brown? [Details] Tweet

Drake — whose disrespectful note to Chris Brown sparked a club riot — is going to be arrested for throwing a bottle at Brown.

Drake is expected to be charged with reckless endangerment, sources said, after a witness told cops he threw a bottle during the 4 a.m. brawl Thursday at SoHo niteclub, W.i.P. The witness doesn’t think Drake hit anyone with the bottle.

Sources say that if Drake doesn’t agree to surrender by early next week, cops may arrest him during tonight’s concert at Jones Beach. Yikes!

Apparently, Chris Brown sent over a bottle of pricey Champagne to Drake's table, as a peace-offering I suppose. Drake responded by sending over a note that read: “I am f--king the love of your life." Of course, with Chris Brown's hot temper, that wasn't gonna fly. 

NBA star Tony Parker, who was at W.i.P. when the violence broke out, said yesterday that he got a piece of glass in his eye.

“I was there with a bunch of friends when a fight broke out. They started to throw bottles about. I got it all,” the San Antonio Spurs star said.

 

Drake’s camp said the fight was instigated by a member of Brown’s crew who made offensive comments toward their crew, which included Meek Mill.

A source said Brown’s crew that night may have included members of the Crips street gang, which would violate the terms of his probation set after his 2009 attack on Rihanna.

“Drake’s lawyers and the police are looking into whether Chris Brown was hanging out with known gang members,” the source said. 

Chris Brown's attorney says it was Drake who started everything.

“I have turned over evidence that it was Drake who instigated this. The evidence makes it clear that Chris is the victim in all of this,” said Brown’s attorney, Mark Geragos.

“I believe the police are building a case against Drake and his thugs,” Geragos added. “Clearly, Drake was the instigator, and there is evidence he threw glassware.”

MEANWHILE: The woman who these two men caused a riot over, Rihanna, was seen at Jay-Z's 40/40 Club with 15 of her girl friends livin' it up without a care in the world. Smh!

TMZ has confirmed with law enforcement that Drake is not facing any charges and cops have "no suspects, complaints or arrest warrants at this time."

RIP: Moesha Star Yvette Wilson Is Dead At 48 Years Old (DETAILS) Tweet

Yvette Wilson, one of the stars of the hit show Moesha, is dead after losing her battle with Stage 4 Cervical Cancer at 48 years old. According to reports, Yvette was in need of funds to pay her mounting medical bills to help fight her cancer, but she also was in need of a kidney transplant.

Her friend and co-star Shar Jackson took to twitter to ask for prayers before ultimately breaking the news of the comedian's death.

Shar tweeted:

"Everyone plz send prayer and light to my sister and best friend Yvette Wilson. I need my prayer soldiers right."

"F*ck Cancer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh God. My heart is soooo unbelievably broken. I wanna thank all my tweeties for their prayers but God has chosen to take my sister Yvette home."

Many of us remember her from her classic appearance on Friday and her other appearances on shows like Thea, Poetic Justice and The Parkers. Our prayers are with the family and friends of Yvette Wilson.

Unreleased footage of what was going to be one of the most epic Summer Jam performances ever has been released. At Summer Jam 2002, Nas had planned to lynch a Jay-Z replica on stage. The fake “Jay-Z” was supposed to be complete with mechanical movements that was intended to be hanged in front of thousands on the Summer Jam stage. Hot 97 didn’t let him do that which explains why Nas didn’t perform that year.

According to a report distributed by the Center for Disease Control, while African Americans represented only 13.6% of the US population in 2009, they accounted for 52% of new HIV infections. Black men accounted for 70% of all infections in the African American community. Many are still under the impression that HIV/AIDS is a disease transferred only through homosexual relations however, 85% of African American women infected in 2009 were infected through heterosexual relations.

The Roots Picnic is regarded as one of Philadelphia’s richest music cultural experience. This year was the first time the festival was split into two days (Saturday June 2^nd and 3^rd).
