No. Because despite how it’s been worded by him that situation is not a “hip hop moment” or a “battle for the sake of musical integrity”…it’s a ploy for attention around the release of an album. More than anything it was just disappointing cause what kid isn’t a fan of what Common has done for our genre. A guy who made such an incredible career for himself based off expressing genuine feelings about life and love is now targeting me for sharing my story.

According to Billboard.biz, Ne-Yo is bringing his Compound Entertainment imprint to Motown Records.
Ne-Yo: "I'm honored that I¹ve been given such a

RIP: The Powerful Voiced Etta James Dies at age 73
ETTA James, whose powerful, versatile and emotionally direct voice could enliven the saddest of blues as well as the most subtle love songs has died at aged 73.
She is most notable for her signature hit, At Last. Her manager said the cause was complications of leukemia.
Rest in Peace, Etta.

Community Service: Kick It Up for Recess! (Sporting Good Drive)
United Way of Southeastern Pennsylvania is partnering once again with the Greater Philadelphia MLK Day of Service and Ron Jaworski’s JAWS Youth Playbook to Kick it Up for Recess!
We’re collecting new and gently used sports equipment and fitness materials for use in After-School and Out-of-School-Time Youth Programs throughout Greater Philadelphia. Items donated can be delivered to the MLK Day of Service signature site at Girard College in Philadelphia, PA on Saturday January 14th or Sunday January 15th.
Please consider supporting this fun and meaningful event. Many agencies have been facing severe budget cuts and have not been able to provide proper equipment to the youth enrolled in their programs. United Way is collecting, packing and donating Activity Kits filled with sports and recreation supplies to area Recreation Centers, Boys and Girls Clubs, and YMCAs – and we need your help!

Bey and Hov issued a statement thanking everyone for their support with the birth of their first child.
Hello Hello Baby Blue!
We are happy to announce the arrival of our beautiful daughter, Blue Ivy Carter, born on Saturday, January 7, 2012.
Her birth was emotional and extremely peaceful, we are in heaven. She was delivered naturally at a healthy 7 lbs and it was the best experience of both of our lives.
We are thankful to everyone for all your prayers, well wishes, love and support.

Did Beyonce Give Birth?
Rumors have swirled in the past few weeks surrounding Beyonce's pregnancy and whether or not the Houston native officially gave birth to her bundle of joy. Recently, the NY Daily News reports that the singer, accompanied by her husband Jay-Z, checked into a hospital in New York on Friday (Jan. 6), renting out an entire floor so they could welcome their new baby with some privacy.
