Jeantrix Clothing Co. NYFW 2011 Runway Show

Edgy, couture clothing line, Jeantrix Clothing Co. showcases their newest collection during NYFW on February 15, 2011.

by: Jasmine Whaley

New York- iSocialite was given the opportunity to attend Jeantrix's NYFW Runway show held at Las Chicas Locas in New York City. I personally love Jeantrix and everything they represent. Their edginess is unmatched in the fashion industry. Jeantrix takes creativity and uniqueness to a totally new dimension, especially with a line that is best described as 3-D clothing. Guests in attendance included Keenyah from ANTM Cycle 4, Camille from ANTM Cycle 2, Eyewear designers Coco & Breezy, Tanyka Renee from MTV's Lingerie Football League, and choregrapher and actor Bizzy Linder. Overall, the event was well put together after it started a little off schedule. Event photos below!

Opinions? : Wale Signs to Rick Ross's Maybach Music Group

iSocialite would like congratulate rapper, Wale on officially inking a deal with Rick Ross's Maybach Music Group.

Let us take the time to think about the pros & cons of this decision.

PROS: Wale now has a more significant presence within the music industry. It reminds me a lot of his track, "The Meeting" (one of my favorites). With Rick Ross backing him, it will open the door for many more knock-out collabs and will definitely get him the recognition he deserves.

CONS: Rapping under Ross's southern-rooted label, may cause Wale to lose some of his DMV aesthetic that we all love. This also could mean DJ Khaled ad libs on Wale tracks..not that that's a bad thing or anything...

So what do you guys think about this? Good move for Ross but is this what's best for Wale? Is Meek Millz next? Voice your opinion.
